A story about a girl whose father, an immigrant who recently arrived in Spain, has left home and has not heard from him since.
The illustrator and author Nadia Hafid (Terrassa, 1990) presents this Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Josefina Soria del Luzzy library in Cartagena Piensa the comic ‘El Buen Padre’ (Editorial Sapristi, 2020). A story about a girl whose father, an immigrant who recently arrived in Spain, has left home and has not heard from him since. Through an omniscient narrator, he tells us the story of a family through fragments and memories of the lives of all its members.
This Thursday (February 2) Nadia will hold a comic book workshop titled ‘A single space’, aimed at young people from IES El Bohío in 4th ESO. It will consist of working on a short comic (one or two pages) in which the space where the story takes place is one, but that this space is not limited to being defined within the margins of the cartoon, but intervenes in everything . support as a territory to develop the stories.
The graduate in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona and Arts Applied to the Wall from the Llotja School will be joined at both events by Mateo Ripoll, Professor of Drawing at the IES El Bohío and member of the promoter group of Cartagena Piensa.
