The Champions League final, in which Real Madrid won its fourteenth cup, has gathered an audience of more than 8.4 million viewers and a viewership or “share” of 57.2%, as a total of La 1 and Movistar, as reported by Barlovento Comunicación.
Notably, La 1 garnered an average of 7,716,000 viewers and a viewer share of 52.8%, while Movistar reached 643,000 viewers and a viewer share of 4.4%.
The golden minute was at 11:30 p.m., when the match gathered 9.4 million television viewers. However, more than 13 million Spaniards ever connected to the final.
For example, the match played in Paris this Saturday was the most watched Champions League final since 2018, when the same teams faced each other, attracting 10,115,000 viewers and 60.2% market share.
In addition, the event achieved the highest screen share in the Community of Madrid at 74.2%, and among young people aged 13 to 24 with 76.6%.
