Sunday Sessions is a new initiative from one of Northern Ireland’s leading theater schools.
Speaking at Sessions Artistic Director Peter Currie said: “The weekly sessions are designed to inspire and encourage young people aged 14-25, not only students of the Belfast School of Dramatic Art, but any theater interested. The core of what it means to revitalize theater in all its facets.
“These group sessions, hosted by a number of interesting experts, will be discussed in detail and we will also move beyond musicals and watch the actors in front of the camera.
Drama and theater experts who will travel to Belfast in the coming months to educate young students include Cameron Jack, the actor who appeared in Batman: The Dark Knight Rises; Kelly Downing, one of Hamilton’s dancing actors; and David Michael Johnston from shows such as We Will Rock You, Starlight Express, and Jesus Christ Superstar.
