The City Council of Murcia is celebrating for the first time the Eunoia Fest, a festival of urban art and sustainable fashion, which will take place in its first edition in the area released from the metro, next Thursday, June 16, from 8.30 pm. The event will take part in 16 plastic artists and three fashion designers and will showcase the collections of students from the School of Art of the Region of Murcia and the Abraham Project Association.
«With the Eunoia Fest, we want to make known the Murcian talent on the one hand, and on the other to celebrate that the great scar that divided this municipality with the burial of the train tracks has been removed. It is a unique and original event that brings together hip-hop, fashion and visual arts,” said Serrano.
The mayor announced that “recognition will be given to the neighbors who fought to make the burial of the tracks a reality, an award will be given for the occasion and it will be presented in each edition to a relevant person or group. of our congregation”.
Eunoia Fest is held in several open-air spaces in the municipality, the first of which is on the underground boulevard in Santiago el Mayor. It also brings together designers Rocío Sardina, Luis Cañizares de Haro, with their ‘Take Care’ collection, and Virtoc, with their ‘War off!’ collection. You can also see the jewelry collection “Inhabiting the future”, the result of the work of the students of the School of Art of the Murcia region, and the so-called “Acid Collection”, created by the Abraham Project Association, in its project of insert Atelier El Costurerico.
The event, which will also include the Modalogía clothes changer, to give new life to clothes and paint live with some of the artists that make up La Compañía de Mario, will conclude with a concert by rapper Benson
Earlier, architect Pepe Yagüe and visual artist Katarzyna Rogowicz discussed sustainable art and architecture at a round table led by journalist Lola Gracia.
