Restaurants, bars, hotels, taxis and shops, among others, will get a slice of the Cuesta del Batel music festival, where Scorpions and Europa will be performing this Saturday
The Rock Imperium Festival sounds this weekend not only for heavy metal lovers, but also for restaurants, bars, shops, security and assembly companies, taxis, hotels, tourist apartments and endless businesses in Cartagena. They will be the great beneficiaries of these three days in which the live music that will come from the three stages installed on the Cuesta del Batel will bring together more than 40,000 people.
In the hotels there is not even a spare room, as in the tourist apartments. The bars and restaurants will cash in, some more than others, like those who have set up bars on the street to serve beer and sandwiches. Among them Low ceilings and Hotel Los Habaneros.
The rock fans who will pass the hall will also show themselves in the shops and even take the opportunity to get to know the city, visit the museums and interpretation centers. In addition, taxi drivers can drive unrestrictedly between the park-and-ride facilities and the festival facilities as long as the concerts last.
To make all this possible, a special security device has been set up not only around the festival, but throughout the city, to avoid disagreements. Traffic is also closed on the Cuesta del Batel, on the Adarve de Artillería and on the way to the Muralla del Mar Campus. These same cuts will take place this Saturday from 12:00 pm until the end of the festival scheduled for 4:00 pm
Today twenty groups play, including Avantasia, Black Label Society, Amorphis and Leprous. The third and last day of the festival this Saturday will include the German band Scorpions, who will give their only concert in Spain at 10:05 PM. He does this during the presentation tour of his latest album ‘Rock Believer’. For its part, the Swedish band Europe will leave three hours earlier to also give their only concert in Spain during their farewell tour of the stage. It will do so at the same time that the EnorgulleCT 2022 demonstration will depart from Plaza de España, to pass through the streets of Carmen, Puerta de Murcia and Mayor, to City Hall, where a manifesto will be read.
