“What’s the fact?” It comes to shed light on the myths and errors about history that still weigh upon us. Through five animated reel-style infographics, various curiosities about our past are presented to encourage critical thinking and reflection. Both for its writing and for the historical oversight of the five animated infographics, the Ad Absurdum historical dissemination group, consultants and content coordinators of ‘El Condensador De Fluzo’ on La 2 TVE collaborated. PreteritUM is a project organized by the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit (UCC+i) belonging to the Office of the Vice President for Scientific Transfer, Communication and Dissemination and the Research and Transfer Group Temporary Laboratory of the UMU, in collaboration with the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology – Ministry of Science and Innovation.
The competition ‘Don’t let them tell you story(s)!’ of the same project launched as a challenge, moreover, that the fashion social networks are flooded with historical discussion. And he succeeded. More than 50 videos from different parts of Spain have achieved this goal.
In particular, the winners of the competition in the ESO category were students from the IES Vicente Medina de Archena, who took the first prize, and students from the IES Sanje de Alcantarilla, who won the second prize. In addition, given the quality of its audiovisual resources, it has been recognized for its creativity with a second prize for the Marist College of Murcia.
As for the Baccalaureate category, the first prize went to the IES Mediterráneo in Cartagena and the second, again, to the IES Vicente Medina in Archena. In addition, a second prize for the best documentation was awarded to the IES Miguel Hernández de Alhama de Murcia.
The special category, open to centers from all over Spain, has awarded a unique prize to the Adela de Trenquelleon School in Barcelona. Likewise, a second prize for the best dramatization was awarded to the IES Fernando de Mena in Ciudad Real.
The cycle ‘Murcianos para el memoria’ held a series of conferences in honor of Pilar de la Cierva, a reference woman in history and little known in Murcia.
