The works of Lourdes Nicolás, Olivia Sanz and Mercedes Imbernón will be screened at the Regional Film Library on September 22
The winning short films of the New Filmmakers 2022 competition are already very close to reality. The shooting of the three projects was completed this week and now the post-production phase remains. Organized by the Vice President for Social Responsibility and Culture in collaboration with the Unit for Equality of the University of Murcia, the 2022 Call for New Filmmakers is celebrating its fourth edition this year, for which 25 projects have been submitted. In this edition, the Murcia City Council and the ICA are also sponsors.
‘The Day That Ends’, by Lourdes Nicolás; ‘The Art of Dating’, by Olivia Sanz; and ‘Santuario’, by Mercedes Imbernón, are the three projects recorded in June in many locations in the municipality of Murcia, as well as in several properties and shops in the city center and in the Santa Eulalia and Fleet neighborhoods. Between the three projects, more than 40 people directly related to audiovisual creation, including actors and technicians from the Region, were mobilized directly and only during filming.
