Irish comedian Dara O’Brien joked about a “new career path” after making a mistake at MLA DUP.
It comes after an MLA DUP election poster for South Antrim was shown on Twitter, with Trevor Clark accompanied by the comment: “Dara O’Brien, is this the new career path you’re looking forward to?”
The 50-year-old Cheerful responded that due to the similarity between the two men, the comment was that “he’s been getting a lot this week.”
In response, Dara added, “Yes, of course I am, so give me your vote to do what you expect from Border and Stormon.”
In response to Twitter, one fan joked, “So, are you telling us the Waterfront concerts where there’s actually political party broadcasts?!? So, I’m confused!”
Another added: “Is this your copy?”
Dara O’Brien visited Belfast last month for two nights at the Waterfront Hall from March 18-19 as part of So Where Was She? a tour.
