Belfast woman’s ‘invisible’ style of makeup as she launches a new lipstick line

Date:

Andrea Taylor from Cheeky Rhubarb

The Belfast entrepreneur has taken the joy of life and personal expression to a whole new level by creating his own cosmetic brand.

Andrea Taylor, 33, is the brains and face of Cheeky Rhubarb, who just made it onto the local and global beauty scene.

A new line of cosmetics debuts with an exciting new range of ultra-shiny lip glosses and long-wearing matte liquid lipsticks.

Andrea told Belfast Live: “Cheeky Rhubarb was founded on the principle of inclusivity and we believe that everyone should be free to express themselves in a way that makes them feel comfortable. We want to celebrate diversity and hope to improve a space that is welcoming and treatable. With respect.

Andrea said that shameless revenge was inspired by the joy of personal expression and happiness.

The launch has been postponed due to a pandemic, but with the help of her boyfriend, David, who created and created her website, she says it’s time for people to discover their genius!

“It’s all my creativity, and given my background in marketing, I felt like this was the path I wanted to take. Since we’re all out of lockdown, I decided it was time to give it a try because it makes sense,” he explained “in moderation.”

“First of all, I started exploring the right product for me and the statement I wanted to make. To be honest, he was promoting a space where people feel they can be free to be creative, regardless of their background, and just express themselves.”

“Hence the idea was born, you had a makeup line, where you can basically feel the joy of being creative, experimenting and having fun.

“The name Cheeky Rhubarb came out of my crazy mind and I knew people would remember it, and it blends in perfectly with the unusual side of the products.”

“We have the hashtag #StayCheeky which is the tongue of the hat and tip of the cheek you can get creative with our products and have fun. Whatever happens these days, you have to rest in the little things that bring you joy in life.”

Lipstick sales have slowed during the pandemic because mask rules have made it impossible or unnecessary to wear lip products. Since then, sales have increased as the rules for masks have been lifted and the good news from Andrea is that women are collecting lipstick, whether it’s going back to work and having a relationship again.

Andrea added, “We’ve only been there for a month and are currently focusing on the line of lip products, but hopefully we can continue to drop even more.”

“More people are back to work and everything is open again and the many events we are looking forward to this summer, the timing is perfect and we hope the collection will attract festival guests, wedding guests, etc.
