In general, I agree with the length of the course, but there should be more opportunities to teach during the course. Because we are increasingly turning to students. The Ministry of Education is called upon to reform.
Some teachers still do not have an employment contract when they go to school. Why does it take so long?
The Ministry of Education is working hard on this. Some of these teachers already teach with a preliminary agreement, but the clear goal is to hand over the service contracts when school starts. Starting this school year, we also want to recruit teachers throughout the year to be more flexible. Previously, the login window was only open in May and October.
The surrounding states are constantly poaching Viennese teachers. The parking sticker and rising rates do not necessarily make Vienna more attractive. What measures are needed?
On the contrary, many young people come to Vienna to receive their education and also to teach here. But of course lighting is needed. Therefore, the number of school social workers has been expanded. But the competition between the states for teachers must finally come to an end.
