On Saturday, the detectives carried out house searches at various addresses in the vicinity of former FPÖ Graz boss Mario Eustacchio. The detectives allegedly knocked on the doors of six individuals and six clubs – including fraternities.
Graz’s FPÖ was embroiled in a funding scandal, which resulted in several resignations, including former deputy mayor and party leader Mario Eustacchio and club president Armin Sippel. For example, the apartments of Sippel and Eustacchio were searched, confirms Markus Kitz of the Klagenfurt prosecutor’s office of the “Krone”.
