On Friday evening, the Kleinstübing and Deutschfeistritz fire brigades in Styria had to evade a serious traffic accident: a car had fallen over an embankment and ended up on the roof. The two occupants were taken to hospital.
At about 6.45 pm a motorist on the federal road L 334 between Kleinstübing and the Stübing open-air museum ran off the road for reasons not yet elucidated, fell 30 meters over a steep meadow and came to rest on the roof next to the tracks of the southern railway line from ÖBB.
Witnesses provided first aid
Fortunately, passing motorists noticed the accident, initiated the rescue chain and provided first aid. An FF Kleinstübing rescue vehicle accidentally passing by warned the colleagues.
The driver of the car and his passenger were taken to hospital with unknown injuries. The FF Kleinstübing took care of the removal of the accident vehicle.
