Cruel find in France: The body of a young girl was discovered in a suitcase in Paris. The approximately twelve-year-old teenager was found curled up around 11 p.m. on Friday evening with wounds in her neck, French news channel BFMTV reported on Saturday.
According to information from the broadcaster, the Paris prosecutor’s office would have opened an investigation into the murder of a minor.
Woman with suitcase on surveillance cameras
The independent news agency CL Press had previously reported on the horrific find in the 19th arrondissement of the French capital. The teen’s father had reported her disappearance to police after she failed to return from school Friday afternoon.
As the broadcaster further reported, the footage captured by video surveillance cameras should show a woman moving in front of the apartment building laboriously carrying a suitcase, which was later found with the girl’s body a few blocks away. Four people are said to have been detained by the police.
