The pro-independence coalition and the Catalans have announced that they will ultimately not table a full amendment to the 2023 General Budgets to make room for the negotiations opened with the coalition government.

EH Bildu and the Esquerra Republicana (ERC) announced on Friday that they will finally not table a full amendment to the General Budgets 2023 to make room for the negotiations opened with the coalition government.
With this decision by the pro-independence coalition and the Catalans, who have 18 votes, the government of Spain has clears the way to overcome the first vote of the budgetsscheduled for next Thursday in Congress, although the favorable votes for final approval are not yet equal.
