The President of the Popular Party of Navarra (PPN), Javier Garciaconfirmed this Tuesday that it rules out an agreement with UPN for the 2023 general election if the regionalist formation is in place only to the regional elections. “Either all or nothing. Either together or apart for everything,” he noted.

This was stated at a press conference in which he indicated that “today more than ever the centre-right bears the initials of the PP” and that “every voter of the centre-right, even disenchanted socialists who see their leaders’ day-to-day action, have their doors open”.

In this sense, he added that the party’s doors are “open to all those regionalists, autonomouss, Spaniards and Europeans” who, following the proposal approved this Monday by the UPN Executive to stand alone in the next 2023 regional and municipal elections. “they do not agree that the centre-right should be separated from Navarre”.

In this sense, the ex-deputies of the Unión del Pueblo Navarro in Congress, Sergio Sayas and Carlos Garcia AdaneroThey have shown a willingness to talk to the PP to offer the Navarreans a centre-right alternative in May’s regional and municipal elections.
