The official EA sector points out in this regard “It is flat out wrong that the accounts of Azpeitia and Zarautz are now closed”. They then go on to state that “according to the records we know, these accounts were disabled by Twitter in March,” and since then, as now, “no one has contacted us to notify us, so we think it’s a clear act of bad faith to publicly denounce something that is untimely at this point and they have not even brought it to the attention of the party,” the directorate emphasized.
In addition, “considering that the EA brand, Eusko Alkartasuna, and its logos are registered and the national executive is responsible for their use, those present at the press conference lack any legitimacy or legal authority to exercise any right to the reports of Zarautz and Azpeitia,” the directorate concludes, referring to the action presented to the media by the critical sector in San Sebastián on Thursday.
