In the series of “ZiB 2” interviews with the party leaders at the turn of the year, the FPÖ federal party leader, Herbert Kickl, is said to have had the turn on Tuesday evening. But nothing comes of the planned performance. The blue Frotmann had to cancel at short notice due to illness.
The interview was eagerly awaited as the FPÖ currently ranks first in nationwide surveys.
The interview was conducted by Armin Wolf, who has often dealt verbal blows to liberal politicians on camera in the past. It is not yet clear when the conversation with Kickl will be caught up.
This year’s FPÖ New Year’s Meeting will take place this Saturday (January 14) at the “Arena Nova” in Wiener Neustadt. Speeches by Kickl and FPÖ-NÖ leader Udo Landbauer are planned.
