He is a doctor, musician, satirist and founder of the “Beer Party”: Dominik Wlazny aka Marco Pogo. In the “Krone” interview, the jack-of-all-trades talks about Burgenland’s charm, wild house parties and his opinion on Doskozil’s suggestion to pay specialists in Burgenland the best in Austria.
Since 2019, Viennese “Beer Party” founder Dominik Wlazny (36) has been stirring up domestic politics. At the time, the political career changer was running as a top candidate in the National Council elections and a year later also in the Vienna state and municipal elections. In last year’s federal presidential election, the doctor and youngest candidate for the Hofburg garnered 8.3 percent of the vote across low-funded Austria, placing him third behind re-elected incumbents Alexander Van der Bellen and Walter Rosenkranz of the FPÖ. In Burgenland, too, more than 14,700 or 9.25 percent of voters put their trust in him.
