She refused, however, claiming that the FH Joanneum was chronically underfunded. “Since I have been responsible for Joanneum University of Applied Sciences, the state has increased the shareholder subsidy from EUR 18.8 million to EUR 28.5 million,” emphasizes Eibinger-MIedl. And given the lesser Matura years, she also argued for more flexibility in the study places.
