The candidate for deputy general of Bizkaia Elkarrekin Podemos-IUEneritz de Madariaga, presented the initiative this Saturday “Bizkaia Martxan”which consists of a tour of the municipalities of Bizkaia to talk to the citizens and “put a face to the most pressing problems and needs”.
In an act in which the General Coordinator of Podemos Euskadi, Pilar Garrido, also took part, De Madariaga indicated that he intends on this route “establish a common front with civil society in view of the next elections”.
“Only in this way can we do politics with and for the people. Politics is that, listening and building with peoplehe noted.
Among the issues that will be discussed with citizens are, as he said, the “dismantling” of public servicesmainly health.
“We want to guarantee that all people have access to free public health, regardless of the neighborhood they live in or the family they were born into,” explains Pilar Garrido for her part.
In addition, it appreciated the agreement signed this week at the coalition between Podemos, Ezker Anitza-IU and Alianza Verde facing the municipal and regional elections in May, and has declared that “it is a first step towards a better, more feminist, ecological and egalitarian Basque country”.
