In his first interview as a government politician, the deputy governor of Lower Austria, Udo Landbauer, talks about the obstacles and opportunities of the black-blue pact and the red lines on anti-Semitism in the FPÖ. He also comments on the SPÖ crisis and reveals what his relationship with Johanna Mikl-Leitner really is.
Nearly two weeks after announcing the working agreement with the ÖVP, FPÖ-NÖ leader Udo Landbauer had gone underground. No job interviews. No mailings. Landbauer apparently also had to explain to FPÖ members why he wanted to rule together with his nemesis Johanna Mikl-Leitner. He used the time for conversations with the blue base. In the interview with “Krone”, he outlines the Corona Fund, how it would act in the event of possible anti-Semitic statements, or not, and whether Lower Austria is a test run for the federal government.
