In both cases, the completed form must be presented at any post office. The official post office staff responsible for the receipt will ask you to show your original identity document and will verify that the signature matches.
– From 8 to 21 May You will receive the documentation and instructions to vote by mail to the address provided in the application.
– From 8 to 24 May You send your vote by registered letter to the electoral committee within the term, which can be extended with the consent of the Central Electoral Committee.
During a temporary stay abroad (ERTA)
– From April 4 You register as a “non-resident” in the Spanish consular registration register closest to your temporary address.
– From 4 to 29 April You request to vote at the consulate where you appear as a non-resident using a downloadable form on the website of the Ministry of the Interior or available from consular offices or departments. The completed application must be delivered in person to said offices or departments and the consular officer, after identifying the person concerned, will verify his entry in the consular registration register as a non-resident and the signature coincides.
