Because in the future you can get defective smartphones and mobile phones started again at Mediamarkt and get half the costs back.
The repair bonus is intended to extend the product life cycle and support the circular economy. Mediamarkt is now also participating in this campaign of the Ministry of Climate Protection. Up to 200 euros can be saved on mobile phone repairs. “With the repair bonus we make repairs attractive again. The large crowds show that people in Austria want to live in a way that saves resources,” said Minister of Climate Protection Leonore Gewessler with conviction.

Mediamarkt also pursues a sustainability strategy – the new collaboration with the “established government support action” fits in well with that, no matter how Christopher Dietrich, COO of MediaMarkt Austria, explains: “Smartphones and mobile phones in particular are in great demand,” says the manager.
The repair bonus can be found on the website www.reparaturbonus.at be asked. You can then redeem it within three weeks. The receipt is immediately taken into account when paying the bill – Mediamarkt has trained service technicians who work with the utmost care and quality, the company explains. Half of the costs are covered – however, up to 200 euros can be saved for repairs or up to 30 euros for cost estimates.
