Ex-NEOS boss Matthias Strolz is back with a new song. Beforehand he promised “an escalation of love”, his first single from the album “Back to Earth” is the exact opposite.
After songs like “Lost in Space”, Strolz wants to return to the earthly with his new album “Back to Earth”. The former politician now gives a first taste with the single “I must win”.
However, the song, produced by Kurt Razelli, comes across as quite brutal. So brutal that the YouTube video platform has given the work an age limit as a precaution. In “I must win”, Strolz tries to sing. What is described in the comments as “Rammstein for the poor”, among other things, is a hard-hitting anti-war song.
Prominent support from Philipp Hochmaier
In the video, Strolz impersonates a psychiatrist who has a high-ranking military officer on the couch. This is played by the famous actor Philipp Hochmair. In the song, Strolz rhymes phrases like: “We are men of action – with dangerous weapons. That’s what sets us apart from ordinary monkeys.”
The “creative burst” should culminate in a late fall tour, Strolz recently promised from Goa in India. His promise in English at the time: “We will have a universal message.” Let’s see what comes next.
