A total of 72,256 people voted by mail for the regional and municipal elections held on Sunday, May 28. Particularly in the Basque Autonomous Community (CAV) are installed 58,064 votes pre-issued while in Navarre are allowed 14 192.
Compared to the data from the previous elections in 2019, which coincided with the European Parliament elections, they represent 10,578 fewer votes per mail. The period for depositing the vote ended yesterday, 25 May, following the decision to extend the vote by the Central Electoral Committee.
