Two presidents honored the opening of the exhibition “Europe Experience”. Not only the President of the EU Parliament came to the center of Vienna, but also Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen. The latter expressed a wish because, as he says: “My time is running out…”.
His wish is aimed at young people: he wants them to have a “passion” for something “bigger”, for a common Europe, after all, for the first time in the coming year, voters aged 16 and over will also be able to vote in European elections. “Yes, you can leave the European Union”, like the British, but that would have brought the country many disadvantages. In addition, “many untruths” were uttered during the Brexit election campaign.
EU president is satisfied
The President of the EU Parliament, Roberta Metsola, is also pleased that the “Europe Experience” visitor center is now also stopping at a prominent address in Vienna. She underlined the support the European Union has given to Ukraine. The EU is currently facing many challenges. It is all the more important that more European awareness now comes to Austria through “Experience Europe”.
