In a message on Twitter, the formation confirms that they are advancing “in a confluence with all those who share the horizon of the country”.
Given the early general elections to July 23, the platform headed by the second Vice President of the Government of Spain, Yolanda Diaz has registered an “instrumental” party called Movimiento Sumar to “guarantee the participation of independent and professional people in the confluence”.
This was confirmed by sources close to the formation after announcing the party’s founding on Twitter. “We are ready for the elections. We form an instrumental party that is the civic heart of the project and will give ourselves guarantees on 23 J. We move forward in a confluence with all those who share the horizon of the country,” they affirm.
Yesterday, following the announcement by the President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez, Díaz confirmed that he is taking up “the challenge” and that he is working “from now on” to achieve a victory on July 23 “without distraction”. Faced with Feijóo’s black Spain, we set out to win. The people are waiting for us,” he added.
The also minister of Labor assured that Spain “has a great future” and that the current time calls for “daring”. At the time, he added that Sumar “has a project to continue to respond to the social, environmental and economic challenges of our country.”
