In the vicinity of Wechsel (Lower Austria), a large-scale search was carried out on Tuesday for a hiker. The Viennese has been considered missing since Pentecost.
According to the police, the 35-year-old hiker was last seen at the Almrauschhütte around 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The search began in the afternoon and evening hours in the St. Corona am Wechsel area. 35 members of the mountain rescue service, alpine police officers, numerous sniffer dogs and two helicopters were involved.
Missing was traveling with father
According to the state police of Lower Austria, the Viennese, who was physically and mentally disabled, was traveling with his father in the Feistritzer Schwaig area in the Neunkichen district. At around 1 p.m., he left unattended in a brief moment.

The missing person is described as being six feet tall and about 200 pounds. He has dark brown, short hair. Among other things, the 35-year-old was dressed in black trousers and a mottled gray T-shirt with red stitching and red lettering. He wore black leather loafers and allegedly carried two walking sticks.
