The EH Bildu candidate for mayor of Vitoria-Gasteiz has assured that they will continue to work towards creating “a progressive government”.
The EH Bildu candidate for mayor of Vitoria-Gasteiz and the power with the most votes in the last election on May 8, Rocio Viterohas pointed to “the programmatic and political harmony” that existed during the meeting he held this Thursday with the municipal representatives of Elkarrekin Podemos in the capital of Álava.
Vitero stated this in statements to the media after the meeting EH Bildu shares many of his objectives with Elkarrekin Vitoria-Gasteiz in matters such as “care, in the energy transition and on the way to a city that is becoming more and more fair”.
“The residents of Gasteiz have asked at the polls for a change of course towards a city that is moving forward and is more progressive. That is why we will continue to work to give the city that government alternative and a progressive government for the first time in history in our city,” he said.
For this purpose, the head of the EH Bildu list explained in the town hall of the capital Alava that both political formations “have agreed keep in touch during the following dates”.
