Under the agreement, the PSE-EE will vote blank in Donostia/San Sebastián, Elgoibar, Urnieta, Urretxu and Zarautz, and the PNV will do the same in Eibar, Irun, Lasarte-Oria and Zumarraga. In Legazpi, the PSE-EE will support the PNV candidate.
Following the results of the municipal and regional elections on May 28, the plenary sessions of the municipal council will take place this Saturday in Hego Euskal Herria.
The PNV and the PSE-EE agreed to reissue the coalition pact to govern in local and regional institutions, and the pact is based on the power with the most votes between the two leading the coalition.
As reported on Friday by Basque socialist sources, in Gipuzkoa the PNV and PSE-EE will vote blank to promote the mayorship, except in Legazpi. In this case, the PSE-EE will support the PNV candidate, otherwise the mayorship will go to EH Bildu.
As it is, the PSE-EE will vote blank in Donostia/San Sebastián, Elgoibar, Urnieta, Urretxu and Zarautz, and the GDP It will do the same in Eibar, Irun, Lasarte-Oria and Zumarraga.
