Jeltzales and Socialists have not reported the distribution of divisions within the regional government or government program, except for generalities, which they will reveal this Wednesday.
The PNV and the PSE-EE concluded the coalition agreement for the Provincial Council of Bizkaia on Tuesday, hours before the inauguration debate starts next Wednesday, both formations report in a joint statement.
Jeltzales and Socialists have not reported the distribution of divisions within the regional government or government program, except for generalities, which they will reveal this Wednesday.
The agreement guarantees an absolute majority (31 out of 51 junteros) and the election of Elixabete Etxanobe (PNV) as the first deputy general of Bizkaia in history.
The two sides have stressed that the agreement guarantees Biscay’s institutional stability and ability to “respond to the challenges faced by the territory and society”.
The governmental pact, which is divided into ten parts, includes measures in the areas of economy, stable and quality employment, social cohesion, youth, equality, public transport, sustainable mobility, territorial balance, culture, “public engagement” and governance.
“Institutional stability in Bizkaia is a value in itself that inspires confidence at all levels of society. Institutional and political stability provides guarantees so that the quality of life of our society increases and extends to all groups and people in the area,” they stressed.
