Speaking this Wednesday at the close of the Biscayan Employers’ Meeting (CEBEK), Lehendakari has assured that he will concern after the succession of these global crises that have caused “clear emotional and social fatigue”, but he has confirmed that he has “complete confidence in the capacity for resistance, resilience and determination to overcome this situation and move forward as a society.
The Lehendakari has said that despite all the vicissitudes and circumstances, Euskadi’s evolution is positive, and that “this is a source of pride and encouragement, not complacency”. In this sense, he considers necessary “a proactive attitude, which includes proposals for the future based on reality and realism, which integrate the shared effort for the pursuit of the common good”.
“Now, as a counterpoint, I also find an opposite tendency determined by the virus of the permanent search for the negative; sometimes even without correspondence with the objective reality in which we live,” he criticized.
The Lehendakari has asked to flee from “Manicheism” and to “promote, among other things, the social consensus”.
