It would probably be the political comeback of the year: ex-NEOS MP and restaurateur Sepp Schellhorn heats up the rumor mill with an explosive tweet. The reason for this is a tweet during the Wimbledon tennis final on Sunday.
During a lively discussion about Wimbledon finalists Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic, Sepp Schellhorn suddenly intervened on Sunday evening. “Get used to it – I’ll win too soon,” wrote the Salzburg restaurateur.
When asked by a user, the 56-year-old finally replied: “My serve & volley will be called politics from the fall.” A tweet that now of course leaves a lot of room for speculation. Several political insiders promptly picked up on the ball and speculated ever since that Schellhorn would return to politics.
