The National Board of Eusko Alkartasuna (EA) has agreed not to appeal against the ruling of the Provincial Court of Araba, imposing the sanction of a four-year suspension of the membership of five affiliated persons, related to the critical sector. The party has already informed these five people about the restoration of their membership, ‘with their rights and obligations’.

As the party said in a note, the party leadership believes that despite not sharing the contents of the verdict and recalling that the courts “at no time denied the serious disciplinary offenses for which they were punished,” that “is most beneficial to EA put this matter to rest and look ahead“.

On the other hand, EA’s National Executive has recalled that the legal system has dismissed all cases against them Congress of February 2022 and the election of the general secretary, and who ratified the approved statutes in which the figure of primaries was no longer taken into account.

In this way, the management of Eusko Alkartasuna has emphasized that “they are once again members, with their rights and obligations” and that this expressly includes “the duty to adopt the result of the national congress, with a national leadership led by Eba Blank and a number of statutes and political presentations that they must comply with and respect.”
