The former president of the Generalitat depends on the ‘stability’ of the legislature on the progress of the pact with the PSOE.
The former Chairman of the Generalitat and Junts MEP, Carlos Puigdemontdeclared on Thursday that the agreement between the PSOE and the Junts on the amnesty law that heralds the inauguration of Pedro Sánchez heralds an unprecedented phase that “one must know how to explore and exploit.”
Moreover, it has made the stability of the next term dependent on progress and not just on the fulfillment of the pact with the PSOE.
Puigdemont appeared this afternoon at the Press Club Brussels Europe, in the European Quarter of Brussels, the same place where he made his first public appearance after his arrival in Belgium in October 2017.
Flanked by the flag of Catalonia and the EU, Puigdemont was also accompanied by the leadership of the Junts, including the party’s secretary general, Jordi Turull, who signed the text together with Cerdán.
