The citizen research into the expansion of the underground local railway line in the city of Salzburg yields relatively limited results. 58 percent of the votes cast reject the major project, 42 percent are in favor. The results of approximately 5,000 voting cards are still being processed.
113,578 residents of Salzburg were able to give their opinion about the major S-Link project in a citizen survey on Sunday. About 20 percent of them have done so and a majority say no to the expansion of the underground local rail line. The result in detail: 58.34 percent are against, 41.66 percent are in favor of the project.
The results of approximately 5,000 voting cards are still being processed. They will be counted later in the evening.
