The Spanish government’s Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030 has hired former Secretary General of Podemos Euskadi, Nagua Alba, for the position of campaign coordinator.
Minister Pablo Bustinduy first signed Rosa Martínez as Minister of Foreign Affairs and now Nagua Alba is joining the ministry. Both make the jump with Sumar’s initials after passing Podemos.
The 33-year-old woman from San Sebastián will be responsible for coordinating the campaigns of the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030.
His first public appearances date back to the 15M movement and the founding of Podemos. In 2015, at just 25 years old, he led the Podemos list for Gipuzkoa to Congress, winning in the area by 103,000 votes.
Months later, she was elected general secretary of Podemos in the Basque Country, ahead of Pilar Garrido and Roberto Uriarte, with coverage of Iñigo Errejón. But he remained in office for only twenty months, and that office fell to Lander Martínez.
