According to the latest EITB Focus, Jeltzales and the Socialists have the oldest electorate, the PP voter is spread across all age groups and EH Bildu is the most successful among the young.
The EITB Focus macro survey shows that the PNV and the PSE-EE are the preferred parties among women, while EH Bildu is the favorite among young people and students. The PP has an electorate divided over all age groups.
In the analysis of the EITB Focus microdata, carried out by Silván & Miracle, the magnifying glass is also placed on the voting intention per territory. Thus, Álava turns out to be the “most competitive” area. It is where the PNV is weakest, the PSE-EE is strongest and where the PP achieves the best results, according to Silván & Miracle. EH Bildu would also achieve better results in Álava than in Bizkaia.
Bizkaia remains the area where the PNV is strongest, followed by EH Bildu. On the other hand, in Gipuzkoa EH Bildu is the main force, followed by the PNV. It would be in this area where PP and Elkarrekin Podemos would achieve their worst results.
If we look at the education level of voters, the PSE-EE is the one that gets the largest number of votes among people with no education, while EH Bildu and Sumar would get the ballots of people with higher education.
