The Secretary General of JxCat, Jordi Turulit has been found admitted to Bellvitge Hospital in Barcelona after a heart attackthe party said in a statement on Monday.
Turull, who is 57 years old, has a catheterization due to the heart failure he suffered this morning.
Turull was working in the Baix Llobregat region for a few days when he fell ill, after which he was transferred to Bellvitge hospital, the closest to the area.
JxCat sources explained that the operation went well and that the Junts general secretary is currently in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès, wished Turull “a good and quick recovery”. The First Secretary of the PSC, Salvador Illa, also encouraged Turull in another post on the social network X.
JxCat leaders have sent encouraging messages to Turull, as in the case of the party’s president, Laura Borràs, who has expressed her wish for him to have “a speedy recovery.”
