Both in the Navarrese parliament and in the capital of Iruinda, more than one situation may arise during the investiture sessions, according to the data collected in the latest EITB group macro survey.
There are cases where the figures do not give rise to alternatives outside the list with the most votes, such as the case that EITB predicted FOCUS for Bilbao, where the PNV would gain the absolute majority, or also very likely, in Bizkaia, where the jeltzale list would get 45.7% of the vote.
In other cases, however, other situations may arise where, depending on specific agreements, or their own interests or those of others, they may tip the balance in the direction of coalition governments or legislative accords in favor of the second most voted power .
This raises some questions: Can? How was 2019:
An agreement between the forces of the left was not possible, so Enrique Maya, head of the most voted list, took the baton with the votes of his own coalition, 13. EH Bildu voted for his own list with 7 votes and the PSN that of you , with 5.
In 2023, according to EITB FOCUS data, if there were no agreement between EH Bildu and PSN, the situation would repeat itself, as NA+ would once again be the most voted power despite losing two councillors.
However, if EH Bildu (8) and PSN (5) join in in the capital, it would be enough for the nationalist coalition’s candidacy to pass with 13 votes, more than the sum of NA+ (11) and Vox (1).
