The candidate for lehendakari of the PNV, Imanol Pradalespromised this Monday that anyone who makes an appointment at an outpatient clinic in Osakidetza will be treated within a maximum of 48 hours and “if it is very urgent, on the same day”.
In an interview for the program ‘Boulevard’ on Radio Euskadi, Pradales pointed out that we ‘have to work in a r“internal organization” of Osakidetza. “It is true that we have a problem with doctors, it is true that we lack professionals, but we must also look for other models of self-organization of primary care. I believe that there we can find a way to improve care,” he added.
On the other hand, Pradales has responded Arnaldo Otegi which I gambled on last week return to the “origins” of the Ertzaintza. The Lehendakaritza candidate has stated that he is surprised by these types of statements, which he described as ‘serious’. “What political organization was Otegi active in forty years ago? In a political organization that perhaps targeted the Ertzaintza? That forced the Ertzaintza to protect themselves? To have to arm themselves? Has Mr. Otegi forgotten that?” he asked. After acknowledging that “perhaps” the Ertzaintza and police models “have areas for improvement, like everything in life,” he said that “lessons, the right ones.”
Finally, he mentioned EH Bildu’s approach to the deduction for ordinary house purchase in the income tax return. In this context, he has defended the habitual residence tax deduction: “There are more than 330,000 people in this country who have an income deduction today, and it is a way of putting our hand in our pockets.”
