Election campaign in Innsbruck – Why many “banned posters” end up on construction sites

Date:

The flood of signs before the elections in Innsbruck hardly knows any boundaries – or does it? Under federal law, there are clear rules, but not all parties adhere to them – this is also evident from the videos (see above). The “Krone” has examined several places in the capital of Tyrol. The result: There are a number of posters hanging in places where they shouldn’t be!

Politicians and their campaign staff in particular are currently busy on the construction sites in Innsbruck. The reason: They are collecting their election posters, which authorities had removed because they were obstructing traffic and not following the rules. In this case, the rules are a federal law that regulates the installation and is actually intended to prevent exactly what is currently common in Innsbruck: pure wild growth.
