The general secretary of the PSE-EE claims to have “been in contact” with citizens who “want a policy that proposes solutions”
The address of PSE-EE value as one “great succes” the result his group achieved in last Sunday’s elections, in which they obtained 150,000 votes and 12 seats in the Basque parliament.
In this sense, the Secretary General of the Basque Socialists, Eneko Anduezaassures that they have known”connect with that electorate who wants a slower policy, aimed at solving problems, proposing solutions and meeting the challenges ahead.” Likewise, he has insisted on the “clarity” of the socialist proposal: “We will do with those votes what we said in Campaign. We kept going, everyone knew what our roadmap and our ambition was, so now we have the support of everyone who put their trust in us.”
Andueza assures that they will work for a government agreement that is guided by its principles and its programme, “and because our representation in the institutions, especially in the Basque government, is reflected in the clarity and strength of our voices,” he noted.
Furthermore, the PSE-EE thanked the General Secretary of the PSOE and the President of the Government, Pedro Sanchezand to the members of his government for his active presence at the campaign events, a support that has underlined the importance of the Socialists’ government in all decision-making areas, and, in particular, “to all the colleagues of the PSOE who have given us a helping hand helped spread our message.”
