The current ‘TV duel’ between Andreas Mölzer and Eva Glawischnig on krone.tv was, among other things, about the affair of the Green EU top candidate Lena Schlling. Andreas Mölzer sobs: “Being at the center of the shitstorm is a huge setback. She is too young and not mature enough for politics.”
In general, it caused surprise among the duelists that the politically left-wing medium “Standard” widely published the Lena Schilling story. Andreas Mölzer asks: “What is going on in the left half of the Reich?” Eva Glawischnig also adds: “A medium cannot publish this story. That is far too private.” Mölzer now responds critically to Lena Schilling: “If someone does not have the maturity for it, it is better to stay away from politics.” Glawischnig, on the other hand, is critical of “Standaard”: “I am angry. This was a private border crossing. Transparency is great, but not under the covers.”
Four evil uncles and the confirmation candidate
The two duelists also discuss the current EU election campaign. From Eva Glawischnig’s point of view it would be quite slow: “So far the EU election campaign has only plodded along. There were few highlights.” Mölzer humorously alluded to a photo after the EU Elephant Round with Reinhold Lopatka, Andreas Schieder, Harald Vilimsky, Helmut Brandstätter and Lena Schilling: “That is the photo of four evil uncles with the confirmation candidate.”
In the krone.tv format “The Duel”, public figures discuss current national and international crises every week.
