Ex-FPÖ boss Heinz-Christian Strache has been back in court since Tuesday. Due to corruption, the former politician has already been convicted in the first instance – not legally binding. Now it is reported. What about Heinz-Christian Strache’s political career?
With the DAÖ, he tried to build on his old political successes, says PR consultant and book author Stefan Petzner on the show Krone LIVE with Jana Pasching. “He failed miserably and achieved results of about one percent. One can only say: it is over, Heinz-Christian. A comeback impossible.”
The two also discussed another hot topic: the FPÖ is still silent when it comes to who it will nominate as a candidate for the office of Federal President. “I would find a woman very interesting.” At the time, Jörg Haider, as FPÖ chairman, made Heide Schmidt candidate for the Federal President. “The election results were quite impressive then,” says Stefan Petzner. “The rumor mill is spinning at the moment.”
