Yeltzales and the Socialists finalized the final details of the agreement this afternoon. On this occasion, the differences of opinion on the new self-government were not agreed between the two parties.
PNV and PSE-EE have concluded the agreement to form the new Basque government. As EiTB Media has learned, a document of more than 100 pages contains the work lines, priorities and initiatives for the next four years.
Osakidetza appears on the first line. Both Yeltzales and the Socialists agree that the health care system is a priority.
So is the energy transition and the environment have more weight than four years ago in the recently concluded agreement, in which the decent quality worktogether with young people and measures to promote this emancipation.
About the new self-governmentOn the other hand, the differences between the two parties on this occasion have not been agreed, despite the fact that, as the leader of the PNV, Andoni Ortuzar, said: “each political party will have the opportunity to present its proposal.” It is of course clear that we do not have to start from scratch and that the work done so far in the Basque Parliament will contribute to the development of the new status.
PNV and PSE-EE will sign this on Wednesday At 11 a.m. an agreement is reached in the Basque parliament on the formation of a coalition government. As in the previous two terms, it will be signed on the special table on the second floor of the Basque Parliament. Together with the jeltzale candidate for lehendakari, Imanol Pradalesthe president of the EBB will be present, Andoni Ortuzarand the General Secretary of the PSE-EE, Eneko Andueza.
According to the information released so far, the PNV will continue to lead some of the departments it has managed for the past four years: Health, Education, Security, Economy and Finance, and Culture. In the same way, it is almost taken for granted that the PSE-EE will continue to lead the socialist departments of the last term: Employment and Labour, Territorial Planning and Transport and Tourism, Trade and Consumption. Housing may also be on that list.
PNV and PSE-EE have already announced that Imanol Padrales himself will announce the composition of the new Basque government after his inauguration as Lehendakari on June 22.
