The International Criminal Court ICC issues an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu for alleged war crimes in the Gaza Strip. An arrest warrant was also issued for the leader of Hamas.
The court announced this on Thursday. ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan had already applied for arrest warrants in May against Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and his Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, as well as against the leaders of the terrorist organization Hamas for alleged crimes against humanity and suspected war crimes.
In his request, Khan accused Netanyahu and Gallant of alleged “targeted killing,” “starvation” and “extermination and/or murder” as a result of the Gaza war.
