Miguel Ángel Rodríguez is scheduled to appear on January 8 in the case opened against Álvaro García Ortiz for allegedly leaking the emails between Ayuso’s partner, Alberto González Amador, and the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
The Supreme Court judge, Ángel Hurtado, who is investigating the Attorney General, Álvaro García Ortiz, for an alleged crime of revealing secrets, has called as a witness Miguel Angel Rodriguezdirector of the cabinet of the President of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso.
Rodríguez has been called up for the next one January 8while eight other journalists from different media must appear between the same day and January 9.
It was the Public Prosecutor’s Office, which is defending García Ortiz, that requested the statement from Ayuso’s chief of staff to the police. There are “indications” that he had access to “some of the contents of the emails” that Alberto González Amador, Díaz Ayuso’s partner, crossed paths with the prosecutor’s office.
