A lot comes to our government and therefore also for us, because Austria has to save. The aim is to maintain the budget deficit under three percent for 2025. ÖVP and FPö have submitted planned measures, such as reducing subsidies and higher taxes in certain areas. Which of the planned measures do you concern personally and to what extent?
The majority of savings must, for example, be achieved by the abolition of climate bonus and educational leave. The free climate for 18-year-olds must also be canceled. Moreover, higher taxes are planned in the digital area, but also on gambling and tobacco. The unemployed must be limited in their extra benefits and tax benefits for electric cars and photovoltaic systems must be abolished. The increase in retirement age is also on the plan. These are all changes that a large number of Austrians would make.
Do you understand these planned steps? Which of them would have direct effects on you or your closer environment? How do you deal with it? Are there any other measures that you would rather welcome and that would not burden the population like that? Write your thoughts and please keep you in the comment area in this respect!
