Russia is confronted with a large military victory in Donbass in Ukraine. The troops of the Kremlin men occupy one defense position after the other.
Welika Novosilka, tschasiw jar or pokrowsk – almost no one in the west has ever heard the names of these small cities in Donbass in Oost -Ukraine. One of the very large tragedies in the desperate struggle for defense of Ukraine takes place against the Russian attackers. Kremlin boss Putin is confronted with a great military victory, because his troops take one defense position after another they are the last Ukrainian strongholds in the competitive Donbass.
Recently Putin’s soldiers in Welika Novosilka and Tschasiw Jar are the Russian flag. The cities are only ruins, but for the Ukrainian defenders it was key positions that have now fallen into the enemy – under enormous losses on both sides.
Procedure has proven itself
The Russians are always comparable to their offensive in Donbass. Instead of attacking the well -developed positions of the Ukrainians head, they avoid and cook the Ukrainian troops. The defenders must give up at some point and – usually under a huge fire – withdraw.
The most recent military defeats of the Ukrainians are also particularly bitter for them because there are no longer really well -developed defense systems in the hinterland of the fallen cities. And the city taken in the city, or what remains of them, is on heights, so the Russians offer free shooting field in the surrounding area. According to Welika Novosilka, for example, the Russians are just three or four kilometers from the border with the Dnipropetrovsk region with the city of Dnipro.
Pokrowsk should fall soon
Fighting is still made for the MijnStad Pokrowsk. However, the situation there for the Ukrainians is also becoming increasingly desperate. The coal loss, which was so important for steel production in Ukraine, had to be stopped some time ago. Now the Russians are increasingly pulling the loop around the city, the kettle is only open in one direction. The case of Pokrowsk seems inevitable.
